Completed research for each Youth Institute in order to update the infographics with relevant information surrounding hunger in their area.
Students receive an infographic about their own state or country which includes relevant information about hunger and other global issues.
Completing Necessary Research for Each Institute
Due to the fact that the infographics were created 2 years ago, it was time for the information to be updated with current statistics surrounding these issues. Each state or nation with a Youth Institute needed updates. Topics that were researched include data on agriculture in the state/country, food waste stats, health/diet related disease, senior hunger, childhood hunger, sustainability, etc.
Once each state/country was finished, the National Expansion team read over the compiled information to go over what we wanted to include in the updated version. This information was then communicated to the Graphic Design team so the new infographics could be created.
Did you know that 341,890 people in Iowa are struggling with food insecurity and 111,520 of those people are children? The good news is that this number has decreased over the past couple of years.
