CV
Professional Summary
During my time as a student at the University of Iowa, pursuing a certificate in Fundraising and Philanthropy Communications, I have acquired an unparalleled skill-set that has set me up for success in the nonprofit sector. Specific courses that have prepared me in doing so are Fundraising Fundamentals and Nonprofit Organizational Effectiveness. These courses have taught me the importance of donor acquisition and retention, fundraising strategies, the importance of a defined mission, along with much more. I will continue my education and broaden my understanding of this field by completing Nonprofit Organizational Effectiveness II and Nonprofit and Fundraising Communications. Additionally, my background in Spanish and knowledge of Human Physiology have prepared me with a global understanding of problems that countries must face.
Furthermore, I have been able to apply these skills when working on website management for The World Food Prize by practicing effective nonprofit communication and by providing student feedback with the organization's mission in mind.

Interests
My interests include participating in outdoor activities and spending time with family. One of my favorite things is combining these two activities. We enjoy boat rides, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and catching up.

Additionally, I have a passion for travel and will be studying abroad in Spain during the fall of 2019. I am most excited to experience different cultures of Europe during my breaks and over long weekends!
